Nidhi Kapate

Nidhi is a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering who joined the Chueh group in Spring 2021 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a BSE in Materials Science and Engineering. Her research focuses on understanding the fundamental material and reaction properties of batteries to develop better design rules for them. Outside of lab, Nidhi enjoys reading, trying new vegetarian recipes, exploring the Bay Area, and hanging out with friends.
