Nick Siemons

The Chueh Group

Nick joined the Chueh and Salleo groups in July 2023 after finishing his postdoctoral studies in the Jenny Nelson group at Imperial College, London.  Nick focuses on using theoretical models to develop polymeric materials for applications in bioelectronic devices. By investigating the behaviour of these materials at different time and space scales, Nick can connect the chemical structure of the polymers to their performance at a device level, allowing for more informed chemical design decisions for future materials. Outside of his research, Nick enjoys going to the gym, riding and maintaining classic motorcycles and exploring what nature America has to offer.

Education

Ph.D., Physics, Imperial College, London (2021)
