Xueli (Sherry) Zheng

Xueli (Sherry) Zheng is a Physical Science Research Scientist in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Zheng did her postdoctoral research at Stanford University, working with Prof. Yi Cui and Prof. Leora Dresselhaus-Marais in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Her research centers on decarbonizing steelmaking with sustainable hydrogen, advancing materials and devices for electrocatalysis and batteries, and developing innovative techniques (like synchrotron X-ray spectroscopy and imaging) for a fundamental understanding of sustainable manufacturing processes.
